I was scrolling through our old pictures today while procrastinating working on the talk I have to give in church this Sunday (yuck!) and found some old pictures of Addie and Davis...they have grown so much!

Davis is my little cooking buddy. He loves sitting up on the counter when I'm making dinner. Anytime I turn my mixer on, he comes running. He also loves licking the batter...no matter what I'm making! (He must take after his mother!)

Sunday, January 24

We have church that starts at 1:00 pm, with Sacrament meeting last.....so the kids miss their naps on Sundays. We learned the hard way last week to not let them nap after we got home, so we tried to keep them up by popping in a movie after we got home from church. Poor, tired kids! Today we let Davis sleep and Jeremy just came late...I'm not sure WHAT we will do but in all honesty, it's making our Sundays miserable.

We'll change back to 9:00 am church at the first of next year... is it December yet??


She wouldn't even look at me, let alone smile! She was asleep in bed at 6:30 tonight....here's hoping she's not awake at 5:00 am ready to go!

Saturday, January 23

After a long and crazy couple of weeks, we actually had some free time this afternoon. Jeremy and I decided to take the kids for ice cream, using up the remaining balance of one of our Christmas gift cards (thanks again, Heidi!). It was a lot of fun! I tried to convince Addie to get sprinkles on her "white" ice cream (her words) but no amount of persuasion would work. Weird!! What 3-year-old girl turns down sprinkles??!?

My kids have been obsessed with the movie Madagascar for a little while now. Every time it ends they do this dance. It's about time it was shared with the world.
