This was my Mother's Day present to myself....recipe
here. (I realize it's lumpy but after making the yellow cake layers from scratch, strawberry sauce from scratch and whipped cream from scratch, I just wanted the thing in my mouth. The picture is cropped because by the time I got around to taking a photo, half of it was gone. Hey, I'm just being real here.)
Happy Mother's Day to all of my friends who are, or hope to be, Mothers.

ReplyDeleteThat looks incredible! Happy Mothers Day!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing but way too much effort for me on Mother's Day. I bought a frozen mint chocolate ice cream pie!
ReplyDeleteWait, Jeremy didn't make that for you? It's mother's day! I hope he gave you everything else off :) It looks delicious--and from scratch: I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteYour treats always look so delicious! Happy Mothers Day!
ReplyDeleteJentry that was part of my present - Jeremy took the kids away for like an hour and I was able to cook (which I love doing) without interruption or kids pulling on my leg! It was fabulous....mmmmm.
ReplyDeleteLove the new background. You are so motivated, all of your recipes and such. If only I were like you. Hope you had a happy mother's day.
ReplyDeletehey Natalie! I saw your blog off of Rachael's. Too cute! Way to go giving yourself a present! I love blogs! Even those I see all the time! See you tonight!
